We were approached by Yorkshire Wildlife Trust to carve in large pieces of wood the life cycle of a butterfly with the idea of combining an educational element into a natural play area they were developing.

We carved the eggs laid by the butterfly onto a huge leaf, then we carved a huge chrysalis and finally an oak butterfly which would act as seating.
